Thanks for the shout out! Just remembered you were once my writing teacher mentor ;) I would love to read your book on Seventeen. Once upon a time I did a lot of research on the feminist press of the early 70s and one thing I discovered was that "mainstream" women's magazines, including ones the movement criticized were actually much better in their coverage than "serious" news magazines.
It’s totally true! In the 60s and 70s especially Seventeen had a lot of political writing often by teenage girls themselves. I forgot I was your mentor! 😀😀😀
Hey, gimme the quiz!
What’s your boyfriend type?
Goth, rocker, greaser or hippy?
Gelly Roll pens smudged easily.
Adjusting our answers for the boyfriend we wanted.
David was a hippy.
Mikey, a greaser.
Sean was goth.
By 15 Seventeen was for kids.
Oh and you did it all in short sentences! You’re getting an A+ for this one Zephyr!
Haha love this! The quizzes were the best. You should make new quizzes in the style of teen mags! You’re really good at this!
Thank you for the shout out Carley! I would love the seventeen book, I read it religiously.
Maybe the 17 book is next? Gotta get an agent. PS all of your Mormon wives and JD Vance stuff has been so amazing!
Oh, rats!
Also this is the best!
